If you experience a medical emergency, you know to seek care as soon as possible. The same can be said of your teeth in cases of dental emergencies. However, it can sometimes be difficult to know when your symptoms are severe enough to require urgent dental care or when it can wait for a regular visit.
A dental emergency is
An injury to your teeth, gums, or other oral tissues
Swelling and pain due to oral infection
Loosened or knocked-out teeth
Lost/broken fillings, crowns, or bridges
Severe toothache
Abscessed teeth or gums
Objects stuck in your mouth
If you’re experiencing a dental emergency, our team of trained professionals is standing by to help. Visit or call today.
In cases of injuries or emergencies, contact All Smiles Dental as soon as possible. We offer same-day appointments to accommodate our patients’ needs and give them the care they need to experience relief.
If your condition is left untreated:
Your symptoms may worsen
You may experience lasting damage to your teeth and gums
You may lose your tooth due to severe infection or trauma
At All Smiles Dental, we understand that you can’t plan for emergency dental visits. Accidents and injuries occur without warning, and often when you least expect them to. However, you can avoid many common dental emergencies just by taking great care of your smile.
Here are some tips to help keep your teeth strong and healthy:
Always wear a mouthguard when participating in sports or other physical activities that could result in an injury to the mouth, lips, or teeth. Even if you don’t expect a hard fall or blow to the face, it’s better to be safe than sorry.
Avoid eating hard or chewy foods. Hard-to-eat snacks may be tasty, but they crack or damage your teeth.
Never use your teeth to cut or tear things. This can damage your teeth, cut your gums, or get painful objects lodged in your mouth.
Don’t chew on pens or pencils. This can hurt your teeth.
Be sure to practice good at-home dental care and keep up with regularly scheduled checkups.
At All Smiles Dental, our gentle, knowledgeable team is dedicated to your oral health. We know that emergencies happen when you least expect them and that immediate attention is critical. This is why we offer same-day dental services and prompt, professional care in cases of accidents, injuries, or other dental emergencies.
The establishment is clean and well decorated and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I was given options to treat my gums and not force fed a sales pitch, which is a big deal to me. They did a great job while showing that they truly care about my oral health.
My family and I have been coming here for over 5 years. I was always afraid of the dentist as a kid, but now enjoy them taking care of my teeth. I am no longer fearful.
I came here with so many dental issues!!! The previous dentist I had made my problems even worse and I thought there was no end to the pain. I went to Dr. Kenny Abedini and he worked on my mouth for 9 months to get all the work I wanted done. Two deep cleanings, a root canal, ten gold crowns fitted just right (3 lower left 3 lower right 2 top right 2 top left all in the back) so I can still smile and you cannot see the gold. The best part no more pain!!! I have TMJ so I clench and grind my teeth until I cracked my other porcelain down. So this time I wanted gold so the metal will not crack or grind down as fast, and might last the rest of my life. Now the teeth in the back feel great, and look great. I would recommend him to everyone and will be a returning customer for years to come.
The front desk staff were friendly and efficient. My hygienist was friendly, knowledgeable, thorough, and gentle. My time with the doctor was short, because I didn’t have any major issues but he seemed nice. The whole appointment felt fast but not rushed. I also appreciated that they helped me navigate my insurance. I feel comfortable and confident returning, and I’d recommend to anyone!
