Your Trusted Sedation Dental Clinic for a Relaxing Experience
For many, the words “dental appointment” make you feel uneasy. The recycling chair, the buzz of dental equipment, and stories of discomfort that you’ve heard—these memories often push us to delay or even skip appointments.
At All Smiles Dental in Long Beach, we get it. We recognize the apprehension you may feel, and that's precisely why we specialize in sedation dentistry.
Our mission is to transform those uneasy feelings into experiences of comfort and relaxation, making dental visits a breeze for everyone.
Think of sedation dentistry as a gentle helper that takes the edge off during dental procedures. Like some people might use headphones to drown out noise while reading, sedation dentistry uses safe and controlled methods to help you relax during your dental visit.
It can be as mild as feeling calm and relaxed or deeper as in a dreamy state. At the heart of it, sedation dentistry ensures you're comfortable, making your dental experience as smooth and worry-free as possible.
Peace of Mind
A sedation dentist has specialized training to administer sedatives safely, allowing patients to feel at ease during their procedures.
Sedation dentistry ensures that patients experience no discomfort during the treatment.
Some dental procedures can be lengthy. Sedation allows patients to remain calm and still, enabling the dentist to work more efficiently.
At All Smiles Dental, we prioritize your comfort. Depending on your individual needs and the nature of the dental procedure, our experienced sedation dentist can offer a variety of sedation levels:
Mild Sedation: If you're just a bit nervous, mild sedation helps soothe your nerves for procedures like teeth cleaning. You'll remain fully alert but in a relaxed state.
Moderate Sedation: This option lets you stay calm for treatments like cavity fillings or root canals.
Deep Sedation: This level of sedation ensures you're comfortable while still being able to respond to prompts. Deep sedation is often used when multiple dental implants are being placed.
General Anesthesia: General anesthesia puts you in a sleep-like state. We offer anesthesia for extensive procedures like complex extractions, ensuring you're completely at ease.
Each option is safely administered under the watchful care of our specialized team. During consultations, we'll always discuss and recommend the best choice for you based on your preference and medical history.
Experienced Staff: Our sedation dentist and team have years of experience, ensuring you're in safe hands.
Tailored Approach: We evaluate every patient's needs and customize sedation methods accordingly.
Modern Facility: Our sedation dental clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to ensure optimal results and safety.

Laughing Gas There are several reasons to use laughing gas rather than complete sedation. It has been the primary way that doctors have helped
IV Sedation is a stronger form of sedation. If we recommend this type of sedation, we would administer a liquid sedative through an IV directly into the patient’s bloodstream. IV sedation requires that you have a ride home from your appointment.
Oral Sedation: Oral sedation, also known as pill sedation, decreases activity in the parts of the brain that control fear and anxiety. The result is a very relaxed and calm mood that will allow your doctor to effectively perform treatment. It is easy to administer, there are no needles, a strong dosage causes patients to have little to no memory of the procedure, it is safe and you are still responsive
The establishment is clean and well decorated and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I was given options to treat my gums and not force fed a sales pitch, which is a big deal to me. They did a great job while showing that they truly care about my oral health.
My family and I have been coming here for over 5 years. I was always afraid of the dentist as a kid, but now enjoy them taking care of my teeth. I am no longer fearful.
I came here with so many dental issues!!! The previous dentist I had made my problems even worse and I thought there was no end to the pain. I went to Dr. Kenny Abedini and he worked on my mouth for 9 months to get all the work I wanted done. Two deep cleanings, a root canal, ten gold crowns fitted just right (3 lower left 3 lower right 2 top right 2 top left all in the back) so I can still smile and you cannot see the gold. The best part no more pain!!! I have TMJ so I clench and grind my teeth until I cracked my other porcelain down. So this time I wanted gold so the metal will not crack or grind down as fast, and might last the rest of my life. Now the teeth in the back feel great, and look great. I would recommend him to everyone and will be a returning customer for years to come.
The front desk staff were friendly and efficient. My hygienist was friendly, knowledgeable, thorough, and gentle. My time with the doctor was short, because I didn’t have any major issues but he seemed nice. The whole appointment felt fast but not rushed. I also appreciated that they helped me navigate my insurance. I feel comfortable and confident returning, and I’d recommend to anyone!
